LIGHTHOUSE

Lyrics and music by Joel Smoker

The road is rough and rocky,
And itís hard to find my way.
I need a light to light my footsteps,
Turn my night into day.

Chorus. Let the light from your lighthouse shine on me, shine on me.
Let the light from your lighthouse shine on me.
Let it shine, Oh let it shine, so I can see.

The pathways are many,
Leading down to the sea.
I need to make the right connection,
If I want to be free.

Chorus

Time is running short,
And thereís much for me to do.
I donít need no oneís deception,
I need to know what is true.

Chorus

The universe is vast,
And I feel so small.
I need to make sense of the journey,
To make sure I donít fall.

REDEMPTION TRAIN

Lyrics and music by Joel Smoker

Chorus.†Iím gonna ride, ride, ride the Redemption Train,
Iím gonna leave behind all the trouble and pain.
I donít care what people may say,
It doesnít matter any-way.
When you riding, riding the Redemption Train.

I climbed on board this train,
One dark and lonely night,
I was reaching, reaching for the light.
I got down on my knees,
And I confessed my sins,
It was just like being born a-gain.

Chorus

†If you climb aboard this train,
It ainít no easy ride,
Youíve got your brothers and sisters riding at your side.
The people on this train,
Theyíre the people of the book.
To know the mind of God thatís where you must look.

Chorus

The driver on this train,
Heíll forget your past.
Heíll just say, ďThe first shall be lastĒ.
On this train thatíll take you on,
Up around the bend,
On a ride, a ride that will never end.

WASH EACH OTHERíS FEET

Lyrics and music by Joel Smoker

The day was long and hot and theyíd walked many a mile
Talking to the crowds whoíd followed for a while,
When Jesus and his friends made camp for the night,
And found some time to have themselves a meal.

Chorus. Then he took a bowl of water and began to wash their feet,
He washed them one by one.
Then taking the towel that was wrapped around his waist,
He wiped a way the dirt from their feet.

He came to Simon Peter and Peter said, ďNot meĒ.
Jesus said, ďYou do not under-stand,
If I cannot wash your feet, you canít be part of meĒ.
Simon said, ďLord wash all of meĒ.

Chorus. Take your bowl of water, wash my head, my hands, my feet,
Lord wash all of me,
And take that towel you have wrapped around your waist,
And wipe the dirt away from my life.

When he has washed their feet and taken his place,
Jesus said, ďDo you know what I have done?
If I your Lord and teacher have washed your feet,
You also should wash each otherís tooĒ.

ďA new command I give unto you,
That you love one an-other, as I have loved you.
By this shall all men know that you are my disciples,
If you have love for each other.Ē

Chorus. So take a bowl of water and wash each otherís feet,
Wash them one by one.
Then take that towel that you have hanging behind your door,
And wipe the dirt away from your feet.

Chorus. Yeah take a bowl of water. Wash your head, your hands, your feet,
Wash them one by one.
Then take that towel that you have hanging behind your door,
And wipe away the dirt from your life.

IN EXILE FROM THE KINGDOM†

Lyrics and music by Joel Smoker

†Iím in exile from the Kingdom; Iím a stranger in the land
These are not my people, I hope you under-stand.
My home is far a-way, up-on another strand.
But this is where I choose to stay, where I make my stand

Chorus.†And Iím standing on the Rock, and not upon the sand.
Though storm clouds gather round, by faith I can with-stand,
Every trial and tribulation, every sorrow in this land,
Cause my nameís written down in the Lambís Book of Life.

Thereís a call going out, to all the folks a-bout
A call to walk the straight path, the Truth you can-not doubt
For the wages of sin, will surely lead to death
Iím gonna stand with the righteous while I draw breath.

Chorus.

Thereís a new day a cominí, and they say it wonít be long,
When the people of the world can sing the same song.
A song of peace and joy, a song of harm-on-y.
If we want that day to dawn, then itís up to you and me.

Chorus.†So stand on the Rock, and not upon the sand.
Though storm clouds gather round, by faith you can with-stand,
Every trial and tribulation, every sorrow in this land,
If your nameís written down in the Lambís Book of Life.

Chorus.†Yeah stand on the Rock,†and not upon the sand.
Though storm clouds gather round, by faith you can with-stand,
Every trial and tribulation, every sorrow in this land,
If your nameís written down in the Lambís Book of Life.

HEAVEN

Lyrics and music by Joel Smoker

Iíve been told man-y things,
Been told there are angles that fly with wings.
Been told of a place be-yond the sky,
Where Iíll go when I die.

Chorus.†Heaven, Heaven,
Is it a place on high or somewhere else?
Heaven, Heaven,
Is it where Iíll go when I die?

I donít know but Iíve been told,
The streets of Heaven are paved with gold.
If I get there and itís not the case,
Youíll know someone lied†to my face.

Chorus.†Heaven, Heaven,
Is it a place on high or somewhere else?
Heaven, Heaven,
Are the streets of Heaven paved with gold?†

Iíve been told thereís a place called hell,
A place so bad no tongue can tell.
Where sinners go who donít con-fess,
Where it is I can only guess.

Chorus.†Hell, Hell,
Is it a place be-low or somewhere else?
Hell, Hell,
Where it is I can only guess.

When I look in-to my true loveís eyes,
I seem very close to paradise
She pickís me up when Iím feeling down,
Makes me think Iím Heaven bound.

Chorus.†Heaven, Heaven,
Is it a place be-low or somewhere else?
Heaven, Heaven,
Iíd like to think Iím Heaven bound

†Thereís places Iíve been that seem like hell,
Where people scream and people yell.
There are places I know where I love to go
That seem like Heaven here be-low.

Chorus.†Heaven, Heaven,
Is it a place on high or somewhere else?
Heaven, Heaven,
Is it a place below or somewhere else?

†Iíve been told man-y things,
Been told there are angles that fly with wings.
Been told of a place be-yond the sky,
Where Iíll go when I die.

SING PRAISE TO THE LORD

Words and music by Joel Smoker

We are gathered here together, to sing praise to the Lord.
We are gathered here together, to hear his Holy Word.
Though He may convict of sin and His truth cut like a sword,
We are gathered here together, to worship the Lord.

Chorus.†Sing praise to His name, sing praise to His name.
Sing praise to Him, Sing praise to the Lord.

When the storms of life come crashing down up-on our fragile shore,
And we think weíve had enough and canít take any more,
We are called to serve each other and to bear each otherís loads,
And if we all stand together, we wonít stand a-lone.

Chorus.†Sing praise to His name, sing praise to His name.
Sing praise to Him, Sing praise to the Lord.

We are the family of God and we walk in the Light,
It matters not our name or if we are black or white.
In giving we receive, in loving we live,
And with hands held together, we stand on solid ground.

Chorus.†Sing praise to His name, sing praise to His name.
Sing praise to Him, Sing praise to the Lord.

Chorus.†Sing praise to His name, sing praise to His name.
Sing praise to Him, Sing praise to the Lord.

Chorus.†Sing praise to His name, sing praise to His name.
Sing praise to Him, Sing praise to the Lord.

Chorus.†Sing praise to His name, sing praise to His name.
Sing praise to Him, Sing praise to the Lord.
